Pietsch TQ'ed and first European Title with new MTX-5! |

2011
EFRA 1/10th scale 200mm On-Road European Championship in Ettlingen,
Germany, was held from August 15th to 20th. 1/8 on-road world
champion, Robert Pietsch driving with new Mugen MTX-5 took TQ honors
after 4 round of qualification ahead of his fellow countryman Dirk
Wischnewski and Eric Dankel also from Germany in the third.
After the victory in the semi final with a faster time of two, Robert
Pietsch started the final from the pole position.

After
45 minutes of exciting racing, with perfect race strategy and management
he won the championship heading it from start to finish by 7 seconds
ahead of Dirk Wischnewski in 2nd, with Teemu Leino finishing 3rd, 4 laps
further back. Robert designed all
new MTX-5 and took it out to its first event and completely dominated
the field that included every other manufactures best product. Truly a
great performance for Robert and the MTX5!!!
